Electrical, Audette and Colad squeeze out wins

Scoring came from all corners for the Electrical Shop as they snuck past Klondike Copier 8-7 in 15-and-under coed soccer action Tuesday.

Scoring came from all corners for the Electrical Shop as they snuck past Klondike Copier 8-7 in 15-and-under coed soccer action Tuesday.

Emily Fedoriak booted a goal and was named MVP for Electrical while Raissa Anderson, Naomi Hardisty, Bronwyn Beairsto, Brett Hills, Nicolas Gillen, Dillon Vickerman and Michael Abbott also found the back of the net.

Ross Mitchum-Timpany and Courtney McPhail kicked in two goals apiece for Copier while Scott Dupont, Michael Hemmings and David Hemmings added singles. The MVP for Copier was Kaiden McIntyre.

In the other U-15 soccer games Tuesday, it was:

Colad Laser Center 6

Quarton & Sutherland 5

Madison Pearson collected a pair of goals for Colad Laser Center as they edged Quarton & Sutherland.

Andrew Walchuk, Reese Steele-Lane, Wayne Dupont and Colby Heynen chipped in single markers for Colad.

Tanner Coyne and Michael Irish replied for Q&S with two goals apiece while Savanna Marks claimed one.

The MVP for Colas was Cole Mickey while the MVP for Q&S was Amy Andison.

Audette Construction 6

EBA Engineering 5

Dakota Couch, Rhiannon Jones and Alex Lindsay were among the scorers for Audette Construction as they narrowly defeated EBA Engineering.

Janelle Greer and Corbin Gendron picked up two goals apiece for EBA while Riley Smith also scored. The MVP for EBA was Kellie Brown.

Erin Eady was named MVP for Audette.

Pine Plumbing 14

Energy North 4

Michael Donohoe had a big game for Pine Plumbing, netting four goals as his team dominated Energy North.

Jaime Whitty, Cody Reaume and Tyler Pumphrey each added a hat trick for Pine while Josh Scheffen and Mauricio Ruiz contributed singles. Their MVP was Blaine Hierlihy.

Logan Potter notched all four goals for Energy North while Scott McWhinnie was awarded MVP.

Alpine Bakery 16

Snap On Tools 2

Rob Borud was on fire for Alpine Bakery, posting seven goals as they overpowered Snap On Tools.

Jamie Davignon tacked on four markers for Alpine while Kimberley Brown recorded three. Brittany Banks and Simon Paish also hit the twine while Dwight Herdisty was named MVP.

Jeremy Mann provided both goals for Snap On while Eric Berquist took MVP honours.

Bumper to Bumper 6

Yukon Outfitters Association 4

Caleb Kelly, Harold Risby and Kieran Small supplied the offence for Bumper to Bumper, each potting a pair of goals as they downed Yukon Outfitters Association.

Kyle Bowers replied for YOA with two markers while Jamie Pope and Ian Wintemute each had one.

The MVP for Bumper was Kelsey Smeeton while the MVP for YOA was Sabrina Clark.

January 3 Results

Bumper to Bumper 6

Theron Richards picked up a hat trick for Kal Tire as they snuck past Bumper to Bumper.

Garrett Heynen added a pair of markers for Kal Tire while Katey Lowey and Jack Lanigan also scored. Their MVP was Teron Sturko.

Kyle Risby contributed four goals for Bumper while Harold Risby and Brett Ens each claimed one. Harold Ens was named MVP.
