Edgewater doubles up on Flames in oldtimers hockey

It was a busy night in the Oldtimers Hockey League on Sunday as a total of eight teams were in action.

It was a busy night in the Oldtimers Hockey League on Sunday as a total of eight teams were in action.


Edgewater Hotel 4, AON Flames 2

Dave Milne led the way in goals for Edgewater Hotel with two, while Sean McAskie and Roger Hewlett each scored once and added one assist.

Pete McPeake played well for the Flames, scoring one goal and adding one assist, while Dennis Zimmerman scored once in the loss.

Jim Giczi added two assists for the Flames, while John Periera contributed one.


Performance Centre Turbos 6, Kilrich 2

Grant Lyons played incredibly for the Turbos, scoring four goals in total, while Glen Heinbigner scored twice and added two assists.

Other notables include Bob Candow, who contributed three assists, while Matt Sills added one assist.

Laurie Malo scored a goal and added one assist for Kilrich, while Wayne Crowe also scored for the team in the loss.


Klondyke Dental Molars 3, Medicine Chest 0

Goal scorers for the Molars included Guy Morgan, Jim Baker and Lorne Burnett.

Dental Molars' goalie Ray Davies recorded the shutout.


Yukon Inn 2, Firth Rangers 2

Brian Boorse and Andy McLeod scored the two goals for Yukon Inn, while John Skilnyk and Ron Sumanik each netted one goal for the Rangers.
