EBA wins by five in bantam hockey division

A dominate three goal first period sealed the win for EBA over Castle Rock on Sunday in the Whitehorse Minor Hockey League's bantam division.

A dominate three goal first period sealed the win for EBA over Castle Rock on Sunday in the Whitehorse Minor Hockey League's bantam division.

EBA didn't let up in the second or third periods, scoring twice in both to go onto the 7-2 victory.


EBA 7, Castle Rock 2

Kahlin Slough led the way for EBA, scoring a hat trick and assisted on two other goals.

One of the other scorers on the team included Trevor Whynot, who notched a pair of goals and added one assist.

Sadie Whitlaw and Devaughn Davies were the goal scorers for Castle Rock.


Coldwell Banker 3, Envirolube 2

It was a close game on Sunday between Coldwell Banker and Envirolube in the novice hockey division.

Thanks to three goals by Angus Clarke, Brett Walchuk and Niall Lawrie, Coldwell Banker was able to get the 3-2 win.

Campbell Burdenie was named the player of the game for Coldwell Banker.

Nicholas MacRury and Bryce Anderson each scored for Enivorlube, while the team's player of the game was Matthew Blindeim.
