Duncans shutout Northwestel 6-0 in bantam hockey contest

Five scorers helped carry the Duncans to a decisive 6-0 win over Northwestel Thursday in the bantam division of the Whitehorse Minor Hockey League.

Five scorers helped carry the Duncans to a decisive 6-0 win over Northwestel Thursday in the bantam division of the Whitehorse Minor Hockey League.

Lowell Tait led the way in points on the Duncans with a goal and two assists, while Brandon Langenham also played very well, scoring twice.


Duncans 6, Northwestel 0

Other goal scorers on the Duncans included Blake Roy and Ben Pereira, who each finished with one goal and one assist.

Colin Kabanak netted the remaining Duncans' goal, while Elliot Berg contributed a couple of assists.

Both James McGrath and Matthew Pollard were named as the Duncans' MVPs.

Shaun Roberts won the MVP honour for Northwestel.
