Duncans rack up points in bantam division
Duncans player Colin Kabanak showed off his play making skills on Sunday in the team's Whitehorse Minor Hockey League bantam division game against Castlerock.
Duncans player Colin Kabanak showed off his play making skills on Sunday in the team's Whitehorse Minor Hockey League bantam division game against Castlerock.
Kabanak didn't end up scoring, but he did lead his team in points, assisting in five goals.
Duncans 11, Castlerock 4
Elliot Berg, Graeme Close and Blake Roy each finished with two goals and two assists, while Cody Lessard chipped in two goals and one assist.
Not to be outdone, Scott Peterson finished with four points and was also a big part of the win. Peterson finished with one goal and three assists.
Kyle Lowes and Brandon Langenham each scored once and added one assist.
Duncans' MVP was James McGrath.
Ben Pereira found the back of the net on two occasions for Castlerock, while the team's remaining goal scorers were Braden Paun-Burnett and Reggie Clarke.
Trevor Harris was named as Castlerock's MVP.
Envirolube 6, Precision Research 6
The scorers on Precision Research were Matthew McBride and Adam Hynes, who each netted a pair, while the remaining singles came from Luke Bakico and Derek Hennings.
The player of the game for Precision Research was Kaelem Troke.
Bryce Anderson had an incredible five points in the novice division game with four goals and one assist. Lochlan Fraser and Nicholas McRury each scored, while Jared McCulloch had two assists.
The player of the game for Envirolube was Grayson Turner.
