Duncans dominant in bantam division; team wins by 11 goals

Scoring three goals and adding three assists, Brandon Langenham led the offensive charge for the Duncans Sunday in the Whitehorse Minor Hockey League's bantam division. The team defeated Northwestel 14-3.

The Duncans also benefitted from a pair of goals from Cody Lessard, Kyle Lowes, Blake Roy and Lowell Tait.

The remaining scorers on the team were Ben Pereira, Scott Peterson and Daniel Bunn.

Elliot Berg finished with two assists and Graeme Close had one assist. The team's MVPs were James McGrath and Matthew Pollard.

Goal scorers for Northwestel were Rowan Huggard, who chipped in two, and Kalin Slough.

Seamus Beairsto, Chris Anderson and Eric Justason each finished with one assist, while Jared Worsfold was named as team MVP.


Envirolube 6, Yukon Office 2

Nicholas McRury led the way in scoring for Envirolube, netting three in total, while other goals came from Jarod McCulloch, who notched two.

Haiden Kremer scored the team's remaining goal, while Bryce Anderson had two assists and Aseem Gill had one assist.

The player of the game for Envirolube was Matthew Blindheim.

The scorers on Yukon Office were Saul Gayle and Logan McKay. The team's player of the game for Yukon Office was Maddison Dorion.
