DOWNHILL FINISH – Ilana Kingsely and Floppy lead Greg Newby and Moose into the finish of the 2 mile race. Newby finished second and Kingsley fourth in the timed event.
DPSAY runs last dryland race of the season
The Dog Powered Sports Association of the Yukon (DPSAY) held their last dryland race of the season this past Sunday at Mount McIntyre on a snowy afternoon.
The Dog Powered Sports Association of the Yukon (DPSAY) held their last dryland race of the season this past Sunday at Mount McIntyre on a snowy afternoon.
15 participants took part in four different classes: one and two mile Carnicross (runners), and one and two mile Bikejoring (bikers). Nadele Flynn was the host.
Nathanial Hamlyn, secretary of the DPSAY board, took care of the timing. Results were based on times, as opposed to order of finish.
The races started at approximately 1:30 p.m. and wrapped up around 3 p.m.
