Disc golfers play last round of the season on Tuesday

With league play drawing to a close Tuesday night and first place locked up, one might have forgiven Matthew Grant had he played a less than stellar round.

With league play drawing to a close Tuesday night and first place locked up, one might have forgiven Matthew Grant had he played a less than stellar round.

But there was no let up in his game and he topped the field yet again, posting a 3 under 53.

Howard Chymy and Richard Vladars rounded out the top three with scores of 56 and 57 respectively.

While league play is finished for the season, the course will remain open as long as mother nature cooperates.

This inaugural season of league play should be considered a success, say organizers.

While starting fields were small early in the year, they grew larger and more competitive as the season progressed, and by year end more than 30 players had registered.
