After seven weeks of play, 10 have emerged at the top of the Disc Golf League standings:

  1. Jesse Devost, 94

  2. Dan Reimer, 68

  3. Matthew Grant, 68

  4. Richard Vladars, 49.5

  5. Vince Fedoroff, 37

  6. Howard Chymy, 36

  7. Alex Oberg, 29.5

  8. Carl Pearce, 27

  9. Alastair Smith, 21

  10. Al Fozard, 16

With both Devost and Reimer away on tour in the coming weeks, there will be opportunities to make big moves in the standings as both Fedoroff and Chymy are playing some of the best golf these days.

The first major tournament of the season is taking place this coming long weekend at the Mount Mac Disc Golf Park. For the dedicated players, this will be a 72-hole tournament spread over Saturday and Sunday. For those players who can commit to play on both days, there will be 36-hole tournaments each day.

Registration will start 11 a.m. Saturday at the Mount Mac course with a shotgun start at noon. Players of all ages and abilities are welcome.

There will be four divisions: open men's, open women's, seniors (55+) and juniors (under 18).
