Disc golf for women

Women in disc golf only make up seven per cent of PDGA active members, and the demographics are similar with non-member players.

INVITING WOMEN – Women in disc golf only make up seven per cent of PDGA active members, and the demographics are similar with non-member players.

On Saturday, the Whitehorse Women’s (unofficial) global event took place at the Solstice Disc Golf course to encourage women to try the sport. Twenty-one women braved the rain and played.

First place: Leigh Adamsky. Second place: Cleo MacNeil Smith. Third place: Anneliese Behrmann.
