With all the snow nearly melted in the Mount McIntyre Recreation area, Whitehorse's Disc Golf thoroughbreds were back in action Tuesday night.

League Titans Jesse Devost, Dan Reimer and Matthew Grant were all on hand in what turned out to be a battle to the finish.

Reimer and Grant drew first blood with a birdie on the first hole, taking the lead over Devost, who joined them with a birdie on hole two to bring the three leaders ahead of the pack where they would stay for the rest of the evening.

With the odd bogies, more birdies abounded for the leaders with Grant scoring one under par on holes 10, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 to finish out at -6 for the night – good enough for the evening's title.

Reimer hit the chains under par on holes 3, 6, 8, 10, 15 and 16 but ran into some trouble with a bogie on 17 and a dreaded double on 18 to finish out at -5.

Devost with his awesome backhand was able to birdie on 7, 10, and 13 to finish out at -5.

Other scores included 2 over for Music Man Howard Chymy, -3 for Alex the Butcher, and 1 over for Al Fozzard.

Grandmaster Dave Griffiths was absent from Tuesday's league night as he is on a disc signing tour in the south. Vince-the-Man-in-Purple-Federoff was also absent but is eagerly expected next week.

Disc Golf action resumes next Tuesday night at the Mount McIntyre Disc Golf Course starting at 7:00 p.m.
