Sterling collected 12 points for a total of 12 and fell to third. Kumon Learning had the bye this week but still sits in first spot with a total of 136 points. Rounding out the top four is the Electrical Shop, which claimed 15 points for a total of 117.
Navigo Broadband took home just 11 points Thursday and dropped a spot to fifth overall with a total of 114. Whitehorse Travel had a strong week, recording 19 points for a total of 19, and remained in sixth place. Northern Lights grabbed 14 points for a total of 89.
Winning their matches for Well Read were Ronnie-Sue Steinhagen, Mark Dyer and Jessica Borgford.
Steinhagen defeated Navigo's Lisa Gudbranson in four games while Dyer swept Zoe Walker in three. Borgford took care of Ryan MacKinnon in four games.
Jeff Wright won the lone match for Navigo, whipping Benoit Brouillard in three games.
Ashley LaBar, Patti Flather and Lara Lewis were victorious for Whitehorse Travel.
LaBar needed five games to beat Sterling's Amberley Wolfe while Flather fought Beth Ellis for five before emerging with the win. Lewis sent Bryan Gartner packing in three straight games.
Jeanette Carney was the lone victor for Sterling. Carney, who was filling in for Shari Thompson, ousted Lesley Cabott in three straight games.
Tracy Pittman and Chris Ziegler picked up the big points for Electrical.
Pittman swept Northern Lights' Tara Matechuk in three games while Ziegler denied John Kramer in three straight.
Monica Gibson and Mark Beese replied for Northern Lights.
Gibson prevailed over Norah Mooney, who was subbing for Shari MacIntosh, in five games while Beese got rid of David Buckler in three straight.
