Some three inches of fresh snow covered the trails of the Yukon Brewing Copper Haul Twister League trail Sunday morning.

Fine conditions, organizer Jon Lucas said, though the new snow slowed the competitors down slightly.

"It was faster than I thought,” Lucas said. "The conditions are perfect. Usually it's really hard-packed, almost icy snow, but this is lovely. Lovely temperature.”
