Competition is heating up in the Whitehorse Co-Ed Slo-Pitch League's Division Four.

Four of the division's 10 teams are in striking range of taking over the number one spot.

Currently EMCO has sole possession of the number one spot, with it's 5-1-0 record.

EMCO's 10 points are one ahead of Crown Royals and the Re-Runs, who both have 4-1-1 records.

The Crown Royals may not have the best record, but the team can boast about having one of the Division Four's best defences, giving up the fewest runs against (50).

On the other side of the coin, the Superior Slayers have driven in the most runs in Division Four. Heading into tonight's battle with the Hello Gorgeous "Hair Mousse", the group has batted in 86, which is six more than second place Re-Runs.

Games on Wednesday included Division One and Division Three.

Division One results included KalTire winning a close 17-16 battle against CAFN Chiefs, while Roadhouse defeated Roche Firth Financial 9-8 and the AFD Trappers handed Whitehorse Dental a 7-0 loss.

Wednesday's Division Three results: Co-operaiders 8, Puck Pockets 4; TEC Drywall 21, Coyote Video 7; Kubota Hoes 23, Sandors Sluggers 8; Air Cargo Express 17, Pepsi Jets (Seniors) 13; Ravens 16, Molson Wolf Pack 4; and Catalyst "Fireballs" 19, Riverdale Pub Crawlers 6.
