Games started at 9 a.m. this morning and continue all weekend. The finals will be Sunday with the women's and rec league finals at 10 a.m.
The A final will be held off until Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. to leave time for hockey fans to catch the Olympic gold medal hockey game.
Yukon Appliance dominated the Kluane Drillers with a high-scoring, high-action game Monday night at Takhini Arena in division A Rec Hockey action.
On the strength of an Aaron Pettitt hat trick, Yukon Appliance took down the Kluane Drillers 11-4.
The game kicked off with a goal for Yukon Appliance by Geoff Corbett in the first two minutes, assisted by Eric Kositsin.
Pettitt scored his first goal of the night at 14:51 unassisted.
Pettitt added an assist to Nester Baird's goal at 9:57, also assisted by Spencer Tomlin.
Yukon Appliance closed the third period with a goal from Tomlin at 5:35 assisted by Kositsin.
The second period was an exciting one for both teams, with all of Kluane's goals and the bulk of Yukon Appliance's being scored.
Kluane got on the board within 30 seconds of the second with a goal from Tyler Hawkins assisted by Stuart Murray and Andrew Zinck.
Yukon Appliance answered less than a minute later with a goal off the stick of Tomlin for his second goal, assisted by Matt Seigmiller.
At 13:14 Baird scored his second of the night assisted by Kositsin.
Kluane made another push with a goal by Stuart Murray at 10:23 assisted by Daniel Murray and Kurt Neunherz.
A minute later Pettitt scored Yukon Appliance's seventh, and his second of the night at 9:21.
Twenty seconds later Tyler Murray of Kluane scored, assisted by Mark Daniels and Tim Carrol.
The final four minutes of the second saw goal after goal, with Seigmiller kicking things off at 3:31 assisted by Jakob Jirousek and Curtis Goodman.
At 1:37 Kositsin scored for Yukon Appliance assisted by Pettitt and Brian Currie.
Twenty seconds later Kluane got their final goal of the night from Ed Vanderkley assisted by Tyler and Daniel Murray.
Yukon Appliance closed the game with two goals starting with Pettitt's third and final goal of the night at 55 seconds in assisted by Kositsin and Tomlin.
Glenn Skookum's goal with 35 seconds left was assisted by Mike Cozens and Seigmiller.
The win for Yukon Appliance was a true team effort, with each team member scoring at least one point.
The Whitehorse Midget mustangs topped the Boston Pizza Hawks on Monday evening 4-3.
The Mustangs were the first on the board with a goal from Cody Mitchell at 16:33 assisted by Brad Keaton.
The Hawks followed them up at 13:35 with a goal from Lance Brown assisted by Rob Johnson.
The last goal of the first period was scored by Mustang Zach Moses at 8:07 assisted by Keaton.
The first 11 minutes of the second period went scoreless, with Johnson finally breaking the run with a goal at 8:37 assisted by Jamie Edzerza and Brown.
Just over a minute later, the Hawks got another goal, scored by Jay Massie, assisted by Jordan Borgford.
Travis Rivest answered for the Mustangs with a goal at 7:05 assisted by Morris Morrison to tie up the game.
Less than a minute later, Moses scored his second of the night at 6:38 assisted by Riley O'Connor and Rivest to win the game for the Mustangs.
The Rec B division players were in action on Feb. 16.
The FSC Bantams beat the Yukon Inn 5-2.

Jared Steinbach scored for the Mustangs at 5:20 assisted by Matthew McCarthy.
The Yukon Inn finished up the first with a gool from Wayne Risby at 1:01 assisted by Beckett and Adam George.
