Challenging the hill

The Yukon Yamaha Uphill Challenge took place last weekend at Mount Sima.

The Yukon Yamaha Uphill Challenge took place last weekend at Mount Sima.

On Saturday the Open Mountain X roared off, with the top riders being Bryden Cook, first, Matt Wolsynuk second and Torsten Petersson third.

In the Open Snow Bike, Jason Adams was first, Dewan Houde was second and Gary Lammers came in third.

In the Open Snow X, Jake Jacobs was first, Raymond Cormier was second and Brayden Adams finished third.

Raymond Cormier was named King of the Hill.

Sunday saw the team competitions, with the One Stick (snowboard) and the Two Stick (skiers) with head-to-head towing.

Team Taco was first in the One Stick, Team Gullison was second and Team Kels came in third.

In the Two Stick, Team Dobush was first, Team Swiss Bakery came in second and Team RC Crane finished third.

Team Dobush was named King of the Hill for Sunday.
