Castle Rock finishes second at tournament in Fort Nelson

Two Whitehorse Minor Hockey Association teams travelled to Fort Nelson for a pee wee house tournament last weekend.

Two Whitehorse Minor Hockey Association teams travelled to Fort Nelson for a pee wee house tournament last weekend.

Yellow Cab and Castle Rock both played some great hockey and Castle Rock skated away with the silver medal, behind the home-town Fort Nelson Fury.

The team members for Castle Rock were: Michael Amirault, Cody Lessard, Riley Hildebrand, Christopher Anderson, Scott Hunston, Daniel Bunn, Jared Hrycan, Lynsey Keaton, Kalin Slough, Graeme Close Sadie Whitelaw and JJ Paul.

The coaches were Blaine Anderson, Jeff Hunston and Brian Slough.

The team members for Yellow Cab were: Gage Aird, B. Wiens, Tyler Wiens, Colin Kabanak, Lane Yaklin, Spencer Jamieson, James McGrath, Austin Smith, Tyrell Hope, Raymond Emsley, Yuje Blackburn and Austin Turner-Davis.

The coaches were Tim Davis, Steve McGrath and Ernie Jamieson.
