The Whitehorse broomball league kicked off the season Nov. 30 at their outdoor arena following the first ever Northern Broomball Cup.

So far the league's six teams have enjoyed warmer weather for the beginning of the broomball season, a welcome change to the usual frigid kick off.

Many of the league's goalies have recorded shootouts in the games so far.
