Big win for Kilrich in oldtimers hockey

Five second period goals helped Kilrich get a 7-1 victory over the AON Flames in the Oldtimers Hockey League on Thursday.

Five second period goals helped Kilrich get a 7-1 victory over the AON Flames in the Oldtimers Hockey League on Thursday.


Kilrich 7, AON Flames 1

Woody Bennett played an incredible game for Kilrich, scoring four goals in the victory.

Laurie Malo also played very well, finishing with two goals and four assists, while Wayne Crune scored once and contributed three assists.

Bill Bohmer scored the lone goal for the Flames.


Performance Centre Turbos 7, Edgewater Hotel 4

Grant Lyons played well for the Turbos, scoring twice and adding one assist, while Bob Candow and Glen Heinbigner each finished with one goal and two assists.

Paul Lackowicz and Lance Bevilacqua each scored once for the Turbos. Bob Allison, Matt Sills and Don Morrison each added one assist in the victory.

Sean McAskie led the way in scoring for Edgewater Hotel, finishing with two goals.

Morley Lessard and Roger Hewlett also played a great game, each finishing with one goal and one assist.

Other notables include Scott Lowery, who finished with two assists, while Mike Fraser, Glenn Bushell, Brian Gudmundson and Sean McLeish each contributed one assist.
