Team Yukon cross-country skiers put on a show Monday in Yellowknife, during the first day of their competition at the Arctic Winter Games.

A total of four medals were won throughout the day, which included an impressive skiing performance by Dahria Anne Beatty, who finished first in the Midget Female 2.5-km with a time of 8:43.00.
Nesha Wright also had a great race in the Midget Female 2.5-km race, finishing in third at 10:16.50.
In the Midget Male 2.5-km race, Fabian Brook came in second at 9:17.20, while Knute Johnsgaard placed third with a time of 16:25.90 in the Juvenile Male Classic 5-km event.
