It was a very tight defensive battle on Wednesday between Austring Fendrick Fairman and Parkkari and Northern Denture Clinic in the U-10 Soccer League.

It was a very tight defensive battle on Wednesday between Austring Fendrick Fairman and Parkkari and Northern Denture Clinic in the U-10 Soccer League.

Austring Fendrick ended up winning the contest by a close 1-0 score.

U-10 Soccer League: June 9

Austring Fendrick Fairman and Parkkari 1, Northern Denture Clinic 0

The only goal of the contest was scored by Haley Bekar in the last minute of play to give Austring Fendrick Fairman and Parkkari the victory.

Austring Fendrick Fairman and Parkkari MVP was Spencer Lessard for his great defensive play, while Northern Denture Clinic named Matthew Butler as its team MVP.


Whitepass Yukon Route 7, Salvation Army 5

Graydon McDonnell showcased his offensive capabilities for Whitepass Yukon Route, scoring a hat trick in the victory.

The other goal scorers on the team were Logan Harris and MVP Christian Ouimet, who each scored twice.

Sean Clark finished the game with two goals for the Salvation Army, while Frejean Pourier, Kelcy Armstrong and Jake Wykes.

The team's MVP was Josh Muir.


Bank of Montreal 8, Climate Clothing 2

Josie Storey and Jude Lemoine combined for half the goals on Bank of Montreal. Each player scored twice in the victory.

Other scorers on Bank of Montreal included Matthew Ng, Chance Goodman, Kyran Allen and Tim Schirmer.

The two goal scorers on Climate Clothing were Sam Logan and Ian Hogeboom-Burr.


Mobile Maintenance 4, Dirkbuilt Contracting 2

Mackenzie Shaw led the offensive charge for Mobile Maintenance, scoring a hat trick, while Luka VanRanden finished with the team's remaining goal.

Tomas Jirousek was named as MVP.

Tristan Rentmeister and MVP Nikko Rodden both scored for Dirkbuilt Contracting.
