Assante will head into next week's semifinal playoff round of the Tuesday Night Squash League ranked number one overall, thanks to an 18-point night this week and an overall regulation total of 316 points.

The top four teams advance to the semifinals, which will take place next week.

The High Country Inn took home 15 points for a total of 304, which is good enough for the second seed, while Kilrich had the bye but remains in third with a total of 271. Pizza Hut claimed the last spot in the semis, recording 10 points for a total of 259.

Underhill finished fifth, grabbing 10 points for a total of 231, and will face off against sixth-place Yukon Brewing in a playoff next week. The brew crew collected 15 points for a total of 228.

Ketza had a strong final night, picking up 16 points for a total of 209, but remained in the basement and will miss out on the playoff action.

Winning their matches for Assante were Trevor Mead-Robins, Michael Hanson and Mark Tubman.

Mead-Robins took his match over Pizza Hut's Eric Magnuson by default while Hanson needed five games to beat George Stetkiewicz. Tubman ousted Kyle Marchuk in four.

Richard Meredith won the lone match for Pizza Hut, sweeping Jean Francois Roldan, who was filling in for Pierre LaCasse, in three games.

Kevin Daffe and Jeff Seaman recorded the big points for Yukon Brewing.

Daffe defeated the Inn's Matt Brown in four games while Seaman whipped Jim Gilpin in three straight games.

Patrick Gardiner and Blaine Tessier replied for High Country. Gardiner prevailed over Lori Muir, who was subbing for Don Murphy, in five games while Tessier downed Grayson Peters in three straight.

Phil Jackson, Chris Toleman and Steve Fecteau were victorious for Ketza.

Jackson swept Underhill's Shaun Stinson in three games while Toleman, who was playing for Marie Desmarais, fought Jane Bell for five before emerging with the win. Fecteau, who was filling in for Peter Densmore, took care of Marc Emond in four games.

Robert McMynn was the lone victor for Underhill, taking his match against Charlie Hoeller by default.

Next week, Assante (1) plays Pizza Hut (4) while Kilrich (3) takes on High Country Inn (2), with the winners from each contest advancing to the final.
