After having a first week bye, the players on Assante didn't show any rust in their opening contest in the Tuesday Night Squash League.

Assante led all team's in scoring with 23 points in a game against MEADIAsolutions.

Assante is currently in fourth place in the squash league, trailing third place team Kilrich by only two points.

Assante 23, MEADIAsolutions 7

It was a dominating performance by all four players on Assante in the team's game against MEADIAsolutions.

Eric Marcoux, Richard Meredith and Glen Rudman each finished with the maximum six points that can be won in an individual squash league matchup, while Michel Gelenas scored five for Assante.

The two top scorers on MEADIAsolutions included Trevor Mead-Robins and Gord Starko, who each finished with three points.

Kilrich 15, Ketza 15

Kilrich held its own against first-place Ketza Tuesday in squash league action. The team benefited from a six point performance from Lia Johnson, while Dave Humbley also played well for Kilrich, scoring five points.

Sam Penner and Tim Carrol each scored six points on Ketza, which has 35 points after two weeks of play in the squash league.

Pizza Hut 22, Yukon Brewing 8

Jim Gilpin and Jeff Seaman each contributed six points for Pizza Hut, while Terri Cairns scored five.

William Papenfus and Chris Toleman scored six points for Yukon Brewing.
