Assante and Kilrich will meet in next week's final to decide Tuesday Night Squash League supremacy, after disposing of their competition in this week's semifinal rounds.

Assante took on Pizza Hut and came away with 18 points to the pizza crew's seven, while Kilrich also collected 18 points to the High Country Inn's 12.

Pizza Hut and the High Country will face off next week for third place.

Also Tuesday, Underhill and Yukon Brewing played for fifth place and Underhill emerged victorious with 12 points to the brew crew's eight.

Winning their matches for Assante were Pierre LaCasse, Mark Tubman and Trevor Mead-Robins.

LaCasse needed five games to beat Pizza Hut's Richard Meredith while Tubman fought Kyle Marchuk for five games before emerging with the victory. Mead-Robins whipped Eric Magnuson in three straight games.

Assante's Janet Lee and Pizza Hut's George Stetkiewicz were both no shows, so that match went to default.

Kevin McDonnell, Dan Thomson and Vince Boutelier were victorious for Kilrich.

McDonnell, who was filling in for Chris Toleman, prevailed over the Inn's Jim Gilpin in five games whil Thomson defeated Blaine Tessier in five. Boutelier ousted Matt Brown in four games.

Phil Jackson won the lone match for the Inn, Jackson, who was subbing for Patrick Gardiner, took care of Lori Muir in four games.

Jane Bell and Robert McMynn picked up the big points for Underhill. Bell took her match against Yukon Brewing's Jeff Seaman by default while McMynn sent Kevin Daffe home in four games.

Grayson Peters replied for Yukon Brewing, claiming his match against Marc Emond by default.

Neither Underhill's Shaun Stinson nor Yukon Brewing's Don Murphy showed up.
