Alpine skiers compete in Yukon Cup

A Yukon Cup alpine Dual Slalom race was held at Mount Sima on Sunday afternoon.

A Yukon Cup alpine Dual Slalom race was held at Mount Sima on Sunday afternoon.

Dual Slalom involves head-to-head racing. Competitors race side by side on blue and red courses. Each pair of competitors race against each other twice, switching from red to blue courses.

One dozen athletes took part in the competition.

A separate snowboarding competition was also held at Sima this past weekend.
