Air North/Cinderwood score 16 in rec hockey league; team wins by 13 goals

Players on Air North/Cinderwood showed off their offensive capabilities Thursday in the A division of the Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League.

Players on Air North/Cinderwood showed off their offensive capabilities Thursday in the A division of the Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League.

The team scored 16 goals in a dominant display against ORC.

Chris Gleason led all scorers on Air North/Cinderwood with five goals, while Ryan Gleason netted a hat trick.

Other multi goal scorers included Jay Glass, Nigel Cripps and Wes Marsh, who each sent two into the back of the net.

Curt Campbell and Darrel Sturko also scored for the team, while Frank Aucoin added three assists in the victory.

Jeremy Hookham finished with the most ORC goals, scoring two in total, while Dan Kirk contributed the team's remaining goal.

Jeremy Kovac contributed two assists for ORC, while Josh Clark and Dan Cole each finished with one assist.
