• Nishikawa picks up two top-20 finishes at under-23 championships in Germany Yukon cross country skier Graham Nishikawa posted some impressive results at the under-23 world championships in Obersdorf, Germany this past weekend.
• Yukon skiers pick up two medals in Alaska Besh Cup race series Eleven skiers from the Yukon's cross-country ski team returned from a weekend of racing in Alaska with great results.

• Kumon picks up 23 points but can't jump past Sterling Insurance Kumon Learning was the top team last week in Thursday Night Squash League action, picking up 23 of a possible 24 points for a total of 149.
• KK sneaks past Takhini Gas Diedre Davidson was the high scorer for the Kopper King, draining 18 points as her team narrowly defeated Takhini Gas 54-50 in women's basketball action Thursday.
