  • Two games played in rec B' hockey league Four players on the Terra Firma Muckers had a multi-goal game, in the Whitehorse Recreational Hockey League Thursday, helping the club to a commanding 11-4 victory over Narrow Guage. Nine out of the eleven goals scored by Terra Firma came in the first period in the Division B game
  • Thursday Night Squash League underway The 2007 Thursday Night Squash League started its season last night, at the Better Bodies CrossTraining Centre. There are seven teams in total in the league and on each team there has to be foplayers. Players are then given a number for playing position that goes from one up to four. This makes competition more fair when a player on one team compete against a player on another. Every Thursday, from 7-10 p.m., six teams meet, while one has to be given a bye. The season goes until the end of April with semi-finals and finals occurring the last two months of the month.
  • Ball hockey popular draw at first annual United Way event They didn't keep score, have a ref, or play for a trophy, but Thursday's 3 p.m. ball hockey game on Whitehorse's broomball rink was pretty special. That's because the real winners of the game were the people and organizations that were helped, by October's United Way of Yukon campaign.
