  • Cinderwood beats up on Casa Loma 19-2 in WSHL Cinderwood's bench boss, Jay Glass had his young team ready for action Monday night as they prepared to play Casa Loma, who just happens to have university hockey players Jared Tuton and Robbie Warner on their roster.
  • Plenty of medals given out at 5 km road championships Participants in this week's Tuesday fun run displayed a little bit more of a competitive edge as gold, silver and bronze medals were on the line at the annual 5 km Road Race Championships.

  • Pour Rite Construction has great day on golf course Matco Transportation and Pour Rite Construction were the big winners this week in the Men's Commercial Golf League at the Mountainview Course using the Individual Match Play Format. Next in line were Total Trac Yukon , Missing Links, and Olson Construction, followed by EMCO Ace Holes and Northwestel.
  • Carmacks Wheel Barrow Association donates cheque The village of Carmacks continued its proud tradition of donating to charitable causes Thursday, hosting a cheque presentation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
