It is with the deepest regrets we announce our Mom passed away after a lengthy illness. Always laughing and joking, she enjoyed life to the fullest and had a big smile for her many friends and acquaintances she met over the years.

Born in Hull, Quebec, she grew up and moved around as an air force family between Rockcliff, Ottawa; Baden Baden, Germany; Downsview, Toronto and St. Jean, Quebec.

She settled in the Yukon in 1970 when her family took over the lodge at Contact Creek on the Alaska Highway, which they ran for a number of years before moving into Watson Lake. While there, she worked at Hougens and Community Outreach, meeting many people in the process. This was followed by several years in Whitehorse with the Rendezvous organization and then at the Cantung Mine. Michelle spent ten years in the Vancouver area before retiring back to Whitehorse in 2015.

Her interests in life included interior decorating, bird-watching, the wildlife and being with her many great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Michael; daughters Cindy, Joelle & Bobbie, Shari & Bernie, Stephanie and Anne-Marie Martineau; grandchildren Lance and Crystal, Shane and Monisha, Jarret and Devon, Kelsey and Michael, Justin and Jasmine; great-grandchildren Josh, Liam, Justin, Corabella, Isla, Evynn, Landon, Tyson, Kristalee, Charlie, Ellie, Oscar and Hugh; sister Francine St. Louis and brother Guy Noel.

Her feisty, outgoing personality will be missed by all.
