Marcella Anne Savoie (Wizniak) was born December 18, 1940 in Hudson Bay Junction, Saskatchewan to Stella and Alvin Wizniak. She grew up with brothers: Donald (Marie), Maurice (Anita), James (Lena), and Ronald (Linda). She married Perry Savoie on May 19, 1962 and has one son, Timothy (Tim). She moved to Whitehorse in 1971, and on April 13, 2022, passed away suddenly at home at Marsh Lake.

Marcella is predeceased by brother Don, sister-in-law Marie, brother-in-law Morley, and grandson Chase. She leaves behind husband Perry, son Tim, grandson Sloan (Krystal), great-granddaughter Jherzey, great-grandsons Oakley and Westley, many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunt Stefania Toporowski and friends.

A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
