“Let’s fly!”

Joseph Edwin “Ed” Lishman left us far too soon on March 28, 2020. Ed was 3rd born of 4 sons (Eric, John, Fred) to Mary and John Lishman on Feb 23, 1947 in Oshawa Ontario. He grew up in Penticton area and came to the Yukon in the 70s where he met his life partner Dorothy.

Ed’s passion for exploring life led him down many paths including flying, skydiving, paragliding, scuba diving, windsurfing, welding, building, architecturing, burl bowl wood turning, volunteer firefighting, first responder, emergency measures coordinating, search and rescuing and master weaver of theory, philosophy and lore.

He is profoundly missed by his many dear friends, his wife Dorothy, daughter Samantha and grandchildren Jakob, Cadence and Ivy.

Celebration of his life will be held at his place on Saturday, July 15th, at 2pm.
