March 9, 1951 – June 18, 2023

It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Randy Jenson, age 72, on June 18, 2023 in West Kelowna, BC.

Randy was born in Banff, Alberta to Robert and May Jenson, and met his wife Viola in Whitehorse, Yukon where they married April 17, 1982.

Randy spent 30 years working for the Yukon Department of Highways and Public Works. He spent many years marshalling at golf courses in San Jose del Cabo, Mexico, and retired to the Okanagan about seven years ago.

Randy is survived by his loving wife Viola; sister Wendy (Ron) Ewing; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. He was sadly predeceased by his parents Robert and May Jenson; and his sister Lynn (Norm) Bloom.

There will be no service, as per Randy’s request.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Lung Association https://www.lung.ca/bc-lung-association would be appreciated.

After Glow
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.
I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways,
Of happy times and laughing times and bright sunny days.
I’d like the tears of those who grieve
to dry before the sun of happy memories
That I leave when life is done.

Arrangements are in the care of Everden Rust Funeral Services & Crematorium, West Kelowna Arrangement Centre (250-768-8925). Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting https://www.everdenrust.com.
