In Remembrance Beat Albert (Bert) Albisser

June 19, 1941- April 15, 2020

Sadly Bert passed away last April and we miss him every day.  In light of current circumstances the family made the difficult decision to forgo a celebration of life and instead hold a private family gathering. We would like to express our gratitude to all of those who knew our Dad and have passed along their thoughts and condolences.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.

His spirit will always be with us.

Bert leaves to mourn his son David Albisser (and Shannon) from Whitehorse, and daughter Tracie Albisser (and Brian) from Prince George, along with 6 grandchildren: Miasha, Anisa, twins Asher & Aleah, Tyler and Kara. In addition, he leaves behind his sister Ida (Ron) in Kelowna, brothers Fritz (Gail) in Dryden, Willie (Ruth) in 100 Mile House and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Hans (1983), his Mother Ida (2008) and his brother Hans (2018).

When I come to the end of my journey and travel my very last mile. Forget if you can that I ever frowned and remember only the smile. Forget that I ever had heartache and remember I’ve had lots of fun.  Think of the days we stood smiling and turn your face towards the sun. Remember I fought some hard battles and won at the close of the day Then forget the grief of my going but remember the place where I lay.  And come in the shade of the evening when the sun has set in the west. Stand for a few minutes beside me and remember only my best.
