Franklin Joseph Dalton

September 23, 1942 – August 19, 2023

It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of Franklin Joseph Dalton on August 19, 2023 in Whitehorse, after a long fight with cancer.

Frank was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia on September 23, 1942. He spent time in the Military Service 1962-1977, then the service sector with Woolco and Walmart for almost 27 years.

Frank leaves to mourn his loving wife Shirley, step-son Andrew Benoit (Angie), step-grandchildren Isabella and Owen of Nova Scotia; sister Gloria of Courtenay, BC, Hazel of Texas; and he was predeceased by his sister Theresa of Nova Scotia.

I would like to express my gratitude to the staff, Dr. Kmet, and all the friends that phoned and visited  Frank during his stay at Wind River at Whistle Bend Place. Also, thanks to Heritage North Funeral Home for all of their support.

Dear Shirley, I was so sorry to hear of Franks passing, it’s never easy to lose someone we love. We know he is at peace it’s the ones left behind that are not. R.I.P. FRANK. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
