Yukon girl killed
A six-year-old girl from the Yukon was killed in a single-vehicle accident just outside of Fort Nelson, B.C., last Saturday morning.
A six-year-old girl from the Yukon was killed in a single-vehicle accident just outside of Fort Nelson, B.C., last Saturday morning.
The girl was ejected from the vehicle after it rolled over. She was pronounced dead at the scene by Fort Nelson RCMP, police said this morning.
The driver of the vehicle was found in critical condition and flown to the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton for treatment.
Three other passengers in the vehicle suffered minor injuries. They were taken to the Fort Nelson General Hospital and later released.
The names of the family members have not yet been released by Fort Nelson RCMP out of respect for the family.
The Fort Nelson Traffic Services and collision analyst are still investigating the incident.
