The SMRT Women workshop series is offering female entrepreneurs in the territory the chance to better their business skills this year.

SMRT POP UPS, a local marketing firm, and integrative health and wellness coach Tara Larkin of Pursuit Coaching Services dreamed up the workshops.

They’re designed to help women “tackle limiting beliefs, create content like a boss and master the art of self-promotion.”

“Women face different challenges than men in business,” Sofia Fortin, the co-owner of SMRT POP UPS and the SMRT Women Program, said Monday.

“This workshop series is specifically designed to support them with some of the biggest known hurdles to business success including creating a winning mindset, tackling self-promotion like a pro and learning how to plan marketing content that gets customers in the door.”

The monthly workshops will be offered Jan. 24, Feb. 21, and March 7 at Baked Café from 7-9 p.m.

They will focus on “Identifying Belief Systems That Support Your Vision,” “Getting Past Imposter Syndrome – How to Self-Promote With Sass” and “Creating Content that Gets you Clients,” respectively.

Hands-on and practical, they are intended to provide bite-size tools that business owners can implement into their day-to-day.
