Women march to make a statement

The Look Back, March Forward event took place Saturday in Whitehorse,

By Whitehorse Star on January 22, 2018

The Look Back, March Forward event took place Saturday in Whitehorse, along with thousands of people around the world. There were about 100 people participating here. The group walked from the Yukon Government Main Administration Building to the Centre de la francophonie. Participants in the Whitehorse march acknowledged that they were marching on the traditional territory of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and the Ta’an Kwäch’än Council. The participants marched in solidarity with women’s and human rights groups from across the world to show that the progress made in 2017 was not enough. There is still much work to do to protect and advance the rights of women and of all vulnerable citizens in Canada.

If people are interested in protecting women, protecting women's rights, better drop a note to Trudeau and tell him to cool his crap with Iran. justin.trudeau@parl.gc.ca Even as you are all marching and off to Timmy's for a coffee, those women are dying. http://www.cnn.com/2017/12/31/middleeast/iran-protests-sunday/index.html

Maybe you could ask Trudeau NOT to give India 375 Billion dollars from the CPP as long as women are sent to die in their cycle because they are unclean..https://www.deccanchronicle.com/lifestyle/viral-and-trending/130118/menstruating-nepal-woman-exiled-in-freezing-temperature-dies.html

A march is really great.. but not half as powerful as every woman in Canada telling Trudeau to stop paying these countries. I am old..and I am crippled.. but I am not silent about this.
