A 23-year-old woman who was in a major car crash on Range Road last month died in Edmonton on Wednesday.
This morning, the medical examiner's office in Edmonton confirmed the death of Nicole Frost from the Jan. 12 collision.
Frost was medivaced to Alberta last month after the Chevrolet she was driving left Range Road and took out a lamp post near the Young Offender's Facility.
While Frost remained in a coma, family members throughout the North travelled to Edmonton to be by her side.
They included the father of her almost two-year-old son, who remained in Whitehorse with other family members looking after him.
Throughout the Yukon and Alaska, money was collected to help the family pay for hotel rooms, meals, cabs and other incidentals while they were in the Alberta city.
