Woman’s death being probed as a homicide
The human remains of a Whitehorse woman were discovered in a burned-out vehicle in B.C. last month.
The human remains of a Whitehorse woman were discovered in a burned-out vehicle in B.C. last month.
B.C. RCMP have identified the woman as Erin Chelsea Borgford, 27. The burned vehicle was discovered in Vernon on Sept. 20.
Borgford’s death is being investigated as a homicide, the Southeast District Major Crime Unit said Friday.
Police are looking for assistance from anyone who saw Borgford or the grey Nissan Rogue she was driving on Sept. 19.
Police are also seeking dashcam footage of the Westside Road area in Vernon on the evening of Sept. 19 or early morning of Sept. 20.

Money and drugs what else? One chooses to go into that lifestyle than assume the inherent risks involved! She should have known better!

I'm going to take a guess that there are two more people that owe money for the drugs that were confiscated. I'll also take a guess that after being arrested she may have been considered a narc.

Don't do drugs and don't associate with drug dealers. Period.

Unfortunately for the Borgford Family that because of our pathetic laws and Judges there will be no justice for them. Even if they catch the despicable piece of s**t that did this to their daughter, the said despicable piece of slimy s**t will only get a slap on the wrist and be out to kill someone else's daughter in no time. Unfortunately it looks as though this young lady got mixed up with the wrong people. Scum like Michael Bland convicted drug dealer many times and apparently also a rat as he never stays in jail for long. RIP Miss Borgford.

She hung out with drug dealers and was charged with trafficking in March. I would question them - they know or have a good idea what happened.
