Yes, CULadda...it is sad reality that most people do not get what they want...speaking of Cons, how did you spin this article to be anything political? The article is about cons at large...though I guess one can see how you could mix the two up.
Bitter much?

Oh Christmas Tree, oh Christmas Tree... Why do you want me to be a YP party staffer? Would it fit your narrative better?
Why can’t I be a disenfranchised, former Liberal who has become disgusted with the degeneracy of the Liberal brand? It is anathema to me that anyone can defend the bat-guano-crazy coming out of 2071 2nd Avenue these days.

What the not so good-ship SS Liberal has brought to the sociopolitical landscape is nothing short of fascism. This is manifest in its policies and the state of the public dis-service.
This was evident prior to the election and a reason I did not vote. If casting your ballot is your say then you would be better off to heed the expression - If you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say anything at all!

It’s rather fitting that a Liberal party apologist would use a monicker like Christmas Tree...
All glitz, lots of presents/free-stuff for friends and family, all in support of a lie... And of course there is the sad reality that most people do not get what they want from Santa - Your use of metaphor is very, sadly appropriate... Although used unwittingly...

Unwittingly should be a Liberal descriptor!

Nice try "C.U.". You are obviously a Yukon Party staffer. No one else would go through such mental gymnastics to try and blame the current Liberal politicians for a woman driving drunk and possessing cocaine. Come back to reality, you aren't fooling anyone.
Not many people want the 'Old Boys Club' Yukon Party back in power anytime soon. Even the two guys running for leadership were part of the Pasloski government so it will just be a "Back to the Future" scenario if god forbid they win the next election. You guys really need some new blood and a new direction.

I hear ya Josey. The leaders that be have certainly taken us down the garden path. Given the level of chaos inside and outside government caused by this current band of political wannabes one would be forgiven for the belief that these are not well intentioned people. Hopefully the SS Liberal will sink itself come the next election. However, I recall that one commenter in these threads suggested that the next government will need more than one mandate to fix the mess we are in because of the current government.

What a long strange trip it’s been...

Imagine that eh, wee bit of information ...ta da! Off the street and in a cage.
Coppers, and citizens fed up...thanks good job!
...carry on please!
What the courts do in this case and the many others...remains to be seen.
We have far to many free ranging nefarious career cons, time we herded them up and introduce the concept of
PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY! I know I am speaking of terms foreign to many here. But how about we stop enabling the epic nonsense and treat everyone as if public safety matters...yup everyone.
Our coppers are not superheroes, even they need a shot of spinach from the public. Want some form of peace in our communities, be the peacemakers and force it into your community! Sometimes to achieve peace, ugly things need happen.

Having our many many career convicted criminals BACK in the public domain via the Star (state broadcaster never in a million years) will get results...
Many folks I speak to have freaking had it with the bulls**t that is everyday here.

Knowing many others are so fed up and proactive, makes me merry and joyous.
Ho Ho hooooly smokes who knew that would work so well?
I mean besides the army of enablers drawing wages to sustain the resource of “the human resource”.

It is good to see a arrest, so soon after those photos were in the Paper.
That's 1 out of 6 Criminals that were shown in the Star lately.
That is good progress. I hope this will continue.
We can only hope the courts see it the same way and lock these people up.
