Vunut Gwitchin hail move to safeguard coastal plain
The Vuntut Gwitchin are celebrating an American decision which restores protections to Iizhik Gwats’an Gwandaii Goodlit (The Sacred Place Where Life Begins), commonly known as the coastal plain of Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
