Well I'm an ex drug dealer from this article and I helped a lot of people ruin their lives. I hate that I did this and I am lucky god has blessed me enough to give me a second chance. I'm truly sorry for what I did and I deserved jail time.

Jackie, I happen to agree that unfortunately the best of an array of bad options is probably to decriminalize all drugs and hand them out at government dispensaries. There is an endless parade of losers waiting in the wings to replace the crew at the front lines who the police bust. Meanwhile, many very bad people are getting very wealthy. The theft and violence that is perpetrated against the innocent citizens, and drug users for that matter as well, is extremely costly and damaging. And the cost of prosecution on top of it all, and incarceration, just takes resources from other needs. What would these drug dealers be doing if there were no profit whatsoever in dealing drugs? What else could we spend drug war money on in terms of treating addictions?
But any change will be a long, long time coming, so in lieu of that I say good work to the police for taking down three more drug dealing opportunists.

dear JACKIE WARD
Drug dealers are losers. Sue Me if I am a hypocrite, but research hypocrite first, if I sold drugs, that would make me a hypocrite.
You went into addictions, alls I'm saying is that drug dealers are losers. So simmer down and go sit in your corner.

First laws to go in society, the wasteful drug laws and life draining tax laws. Sorry humanity survived without them long before the laws were created so get over yourselves.
Also, busting them does not accomplish anything, arrest 1000 drug dealers in Whse and clean out the coke. 10,000 new drug dealers will come fill the role with new bathtub drugs that harm the body far more than some plant from Columbia. Get it? Confused? Then read a book or 2.

Realistically these busts are all small time out of towners that get ratted out by the local crew boss who until this day hasn't seen the inside of a prison cell because he sells his product unobstructed by the cops. It's pathetic and shameful the guy is such a puke and so is his crew. All posers that owe everybody else so they hide up here wrecking our communities and get rich doing it.

June: It's the Criminal Code Of Canada that applies to them so whether it is here or Halifax does not really matter.

Losers? Why? I'm not saying all drug dealers are the most productive members of society. But all they do is provide what is demanded by addicts. Again, no one wants to talk about why people are addicted. All these busts are just happy feely good situations that in essence are a waste of the polices time and money. You can't stop people no matter what the laws are. If someone wants to wreck their lives off drugs, let them. In my opinion all drugs need to be legalized. This is not a discussion of if you think drugs are bad or not. Tax it all and stop this useless war on drugs. In the end it wrecks more families and people's lives than drugs ever will. And that my friend is a fact. And if you disagree with anything I've said, answer these questions three. Do you drink? Do you smoke? Do you drink coffee daily? All addictions to a point. We all have addictions of some sorts. You sitting and judging people from your ivory tower is the definition of a hypocrite.

Good thing they got caught in Whitehorse..all they have to do is talk to a counselor, tell the judge they're all reformed and they can go free.
There is not much in way of justice here.. just some law that apparently doesn't mean anything.
