It’s unknown at this point if they’re all related, Whitehorse RCMP Cpl. Natasha Dunmall said this morning.
Five laptops were stolen from the photography room and office at F.H. Collins Secondary School.
A suspect or suspects broke into an apartment building at 31 Lewes Blvd. through a window and stole two TVs and a PlayStation 3.
As well, the Care-A-Lot Daycare in the same complex was broken into and an undisclosed amount of money was taken from the office.
The suspect did not enter the main daycare room, Dunmall said.
She said it’s “quite possible” the two break-ins at 31 Lewes Blvd. are related.
Whitehorse RCMP, including the forensic services unit, are still investigating.

Indeed..the scum in our pond is getting purdy thick. Cameras are a great asset but no certainty anyone in "justice" will care.
Ask Robert Dziekanski, oh yeah..he is dead.
What is the organic cure for pond scum?
Hugging them for 33 years, creating the YOA, and section 718.2(e) CCC sure has not done much to lessen the scum...in our pond?
Wagers on just how much "faster" our pond will be a sewage lagoon?
If I offended any lovers of eco systems by slandering a useful thing as "pond scum" in the context of criminality...I apologize proactively.

What a shame that someone is going around stealing computers for highschool students and money from a daycare. Scummy

Just like cockroaches these young break and enters are afraid of the light and slither around in the dark. Might I suggest everyone put drop cams all over their homes and work. I got mine at Amazon.ca, easy peasy to install and you can check your home from any computer, phone, tablet.
Where I live a teen age girl is breaking into cars..After the first time I got hit I put drop cams inside my home in 3 places and one on my car. Sure enough, like a cockroach she slithered back to my car..it was dark and i couldn't get her face. But I got her general body set.. I am waiting for her to come back. I've put a cam right inside the car..
No one has the right to steal at will things someone else worked for. Its too bad the courts don't see it that way.
