StrataGold Corp. donated $15,000 to the Yukon Party in 2012, the highest contribution made to any territorial political party, says a report by Yukon's chief electoral officer.

The company was acquired by Victoria Gold Corp. in 2009.
Victoria Gold has recently received approval from the Yukon Environmental and Socio-economic Assessment Board, which the government has accepted, to proceed with its Eagle Gold open pit project near Mayo.
The company can now apply for its quartz mining and water licenses.
The TD Bank Financial Group made the second-highest contribution to the Yukon Party, donating $1,000.
The bank also donated $1,000 to the Yukon Liberal Party.
All 11 Yukon Party MLAs also donated to the party, with Brad Cathers, the MLA for Lake Laberge making the highest donation among them of $980.
Premier Darrell Pasloski gave his party $525.
Party members Gordon Steele, Darren Parsons, and Jonas Smith also made contributions.
In all, the party had 95 contributers over the year for a total of $30,605.
The NDP official Opposition received 183 contributions last year for a total of $33,831.
John Walsh, the principal secretary to former NDP government leader Piers McDonald, made the highest contribution to the party, donating $1,350.
The second- and third-highest contributions were made by Ryan Stewart, the party's former chief of staff, and Kate White, the MLA for Takhini-Kopper King. They donated $1,200 and $1,000 respectively.
MLAs Jim Tredger, Jan Stick, Lois Moorcroft, and Liz Hanson also donated, as did longtime party members Shakir Alwarid, Nancy Campbell, Ross Findlater, Max Fraser, Cary Gryba and Lesley McCullough.
Seventy-eight contributors donated to the Liberal party, raising $11,885.
The highest contribution, $1,102.15, came from Krysta Meekins, a former Liberal party member who joined the Yukon Party following the 2011 election.
Meekins also donated $665 to the Yukon Party last year.
Sandy Silver, the party's lone MLA, donated $480.
The party's former leader Arthur Mitchell, former Liberal senator Ione Christensen, Jason Cunning, the Liberals' chief of staff, Mayor Dan Curtis, and longtime party member Cully Robinson also donated.
The chief electoral officer publishes political contributions over $250, as is required by the Elections Act.
The Yukon does not limit the amount a person or business can donate to a political party.
