A $100,000 winner for the June 17 Extra ticket remains unclaimed.

Coelin DeForrest, a spokesperson for the Yukon Lottery Commission, said this week the ticket was sold in Whitehorse.

The local lottery commission is notified by the central Western Lottery Commission of any major wins of $10,000 or more which are unclaimed, she explained.

DeForrest said the June 17 Extra win could have been the Extra play on any of the three lottery games: Pick 3, 649 or Western 649.

In keeping with standard security practices, the retail outlet which sold the ticket is not revealed until after the winning ticket is claimed, she said.
