Six Whitehorse firefighters extinguished a blaze at 20 Liard Rd. in Riverdale on Friday afternoon, after responding to a call received at 4:30 p.m.

Six Whitehorse firefighters extinguished a blaze at 20 Liard Rd. in Riverdale on Friday afternoon, after responding to a call received at 4:30 p.m.

The fire was confined to a shed at the rear of the house, acting platoon chief Robert Jack said in an interview this morning.

The value of the shed is $5,000, said Jack, and the amount of damage is estimated at $300. No one was injured in the fire.
