Both northbound lanes of Second Avenue will be closed most of Wednesday, the City of Whitehorse said today.

The closure will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., between Keish and Ogilvie streets, to accommodate a dig site at Domino’s Pizza.

“A detour will be in place around the site,” the city said.

“Please drive with care. Reduce speed, obey traffic controllers and construction signage.”

Whitehorse Transit riders getting on at Keish Street and Second Avenue will need to board at the Shipyards Park stop instead.

“We thank you for your patience and co-operation to accommodate this closure and apologize for any inconvenience,” the city said.
