Saturday’s Whitehorse Winterval Santa Parade featured a COVID-19 flair. The parade took in many areas of the city with a drive-by of many neighbourhoods. The people attending downtown by the Main Street Christmas tree were well spaced out and adhered to the safe six. There were no people on foot in the parade, and young people did not converge on Santa. Santa stopped at the tree and turned on the lights.
