Remembering the Old-Timers' trek to Ottawa for the challenge ( Bookends )

In 1904, the Dawson City Klondikers headed off to Ottawa by dog team, skis, bicycles, train and boat to challenge the Ottawa Silver Seven for the Stanley Cup. They lost the games but won a margin of fame.
